RUID Information

All Rutgers University Students -- Do you know your new RUID number?

Your RUID number:

• is an identifier for all students.
• is a nine-digit number, using "00" in the 4th and 5th number positions.
• is displayed on the RUconnection card. For more information on obtaining your RUconnection card, visit: http://ruconnection.rutgers.edu/
• will replace your Social Security number immediately as your ID number.

How do you obtain your new RUID number?

• Rutgers University Students:
  1. Look up your RUID online (using your NET ID and Password) at: http://my.rutgers.edu/profile
  2. Login to "MyRutgers" and your RUID number will be displayed on your page.

• Non-Rutgers Students: (Attending Summer or Winter Sessions) - To obtain an RUID Number, click on: https://identityservices.rutgers.edu/ruidquery/
