As of Monday, March 16, the Office of the Registrar New Brunswick will be closed for walk-in inquiries until further notice. Contact us online or by calling (848) 445-7000 Monday through Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm.

The Office of the Registrar - New Brunswick is located in Records Hall at 620 George Street in New Brunswick.

There are visitor parking spaces (30 minute limit) located behind Records Hall, use George Street entrance.


Important upcoming dates for students include:

  • The pass/no credit option for spring 2020 has been extended until May 26th at 11:59 pm. To request the pass/no credit option submit a Pass/No-credit Request Form online or through the "My Grades" widget on your myRutgers dashboard (NetID required).

About the Registrar

The New Brunswick Registrar's Offices serve as the custodian of student academic records. We provide and maintain essential processes and answer inquiries with confidentiality and integrity for our students, faculty, and administrators while supporting our mission. We also provide and support registration, transcripts and verifications,  posting of grades and degrees, changes in residency, calendars, name and address changes, awarding of diplomas, as well as graduation and commencement information.
